Birthday Celebrations

We celebrate children’s birthdays with a little birthday ceremony.  It needs photos from each year your child has been alive.

We have a “birthday preparation package” that includes mini muffin pans and a bulletin board.  Please help your child decorate the board about their life.  This package will go home the week prior to their birthday to allow enough time to prepare.

Children can enjoy having a birthday snack at school.  We suggest that families provide a special snack for their child’s celebration.  Carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, decorated with raisins are a popular birthday snack. (No sugar, candy, etc., please).   If you are planning a home party for your child, please do not hand out invitations in school.  It can be quite upsetting to those not invited.
